"I wanted to say 'Thank You' to you and Dreams Unlimited for the great time we had on the rafting trip. This is our first year to attend and I can't express how grateful we are that Blake was able to participate in this event. If Dreams Unlimited did not provide this opportunity he probably would have never been able to go on rafting trip. It is also great that he spends time with other kids that have similar disabilities. When they spend time together they can be just one of the guys/kids and not have to worry about what activities the 'abled' bodied kids will be doing, or be left out of an activity entirely due to being in a chair. You guys are providing significant life changing events for these kids and that is important to their development.

I would like to tell everyone at Dreams Unlimited that they really do make Dreams Unlimited and the smiles on the kids faces tell the story.

"Hannah has been skiing with Dreams Unlimited since she was 7 years old. She is currently in the 8th grade at Waverly Middle School and has a medical diagnosis of cerebral palsy.

For 2 days a year she feels like a "normal kid" snow skiing exactly and along side her family and friends. She loves the speed going down the mountain, the faster the better.

Trying to plan a family vacation that everyone can enjoy can be difficult especially if you have a special needs child, but Dreams Unlimited is able to help provide the opportunity for the entire family to experience the sport of skiing. Our family looks forward to the trip every year.

We are also able to network with other Lincoln area families that have children with special needs. Hannah also enjoys the fundraisers associated with Dreams Unlimited. It gives her a chance to participate and raise money in something she believes in that makes a difference in her life."

"I'm not sure there are ever adequate words to say "thank you" for the kind gift you have given us. Normally, our time is spent working on the many areas a child with autism requires.... socialization, speech, communication, various items that come up just when you think you've found a way to overcome them...so it is hard to quantify what a trip like this means to us. Not just our son's enjoyment, but for the stretching and growth it provided to him in a way he would not have been otherwise.
